These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our car rental services and website (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Rental Requirements

  • You must be at least 25 years old to rent a vehicle.
  • You must possess a valid driver’s license from your home country and an International Driving Permit (IDP) if your license is not in English.
  • You must have a valid credit card in your name to cover the rental charges and security deposit.

2. Reservations and Payment

  • Reservations can be made online or by phone.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated in a special offer.
  • We accept major credit cards.

3. Vehicles and Availability

  • We offer a variety of vehicles to suit your needs.
  • We cannot guarantee the availability of a specific vehicle model.
  • We reserve the right to substitute a similar vehicle if your chosen vehicle is unavailable.

4. Rental Rates and Fees

  • Rental rates are based on the vehicle type, rental period, and chosen insurance options.
  • Additional fees may apply for items such as child seats, GPS units, and additional drivers.
  • Taxes are not included in the quoted rates and will be added at the time of rental.

5. Insurance

  • We offer various insurance options to protect you in case of damage or theft.
  • You are responsible for any damages that exceed the coverage of your chosen insurance plan.

6. Pick-up and Drop-off

  • Vehicles can be picked up and dropped off at our Nassau location or at a designated airport location (fees may apply).
  • You are responsible for returning the vehicle on time and in the same condition as it was rented.
  • Late returns will be subject to additional fees.

7. Fuel Policy

  • Most rentals are offered on a full-to-full fuel policy.
  • You will be charged a refueling fee if the vehicle is not returned with a full tank of gas.

8. Driver Responsibility

  • You are responsible for operating the vehicle in a safe and lawful manner at all times.
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
  • You are liable for any traffic violations incurred during the rental period.

9. Damage and Accidents

  • In the event of damage to the vehicle, you must report the incident to Virgo Car Rental Bahamas immediately.
  • You are responsible for all damages to the vehicle that are not covered by your chosen insurance plan.

10. Termination

  • We reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement at any time for violation of these Terms.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

  • The vehicles are provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

12. Limitation of Liability

  • Virgo Car Rental Bahamas shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the Service.

13. Indemnification

  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Virgo Car Rental Bahamas from any and all claims, losses, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Service.

14. Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time.
  • The most current version of the Terms will be posted on our website.

15. Governing Law

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The Bahamas.

16. Dispute Resolution

  • Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
